CNH Industrial brands to showcase sustainable powertrains at UK AD & World Biogas Expo

CNH Industrial N.V., a global leader in the capital goods sector that, through its various businesses, designs, produces and sells agricultural and construction equipment, trucks, commercial vehicles, buses, and specialty vehicles, has revealed that its New Holland Agriculture, IVECO and FPT Industrial brands will be participating at the upcoming UK AD & World Biogas Expo that will take place at the NEC in Birmingham July 3-4, 2019.

At the upcoming UK AD & World Biogas Expo, CNH Industrial will be showcasing New Holland Concept Methane Tractor, the IVECO Stralis Natural Power truck, and FPT Industrial Natural Gas engines.

According to a statement, CNH Industrial will be showcasing a range of innovative products form its brands at the event, the largest international tradeshow dedicated to anaerobic digestion (AD) and biogas in the United Kingdom (UK). This includes the New Holland Concept Methane Tractor, the IVECO Stralis Natural Power truck, and FPT Industrial Natural Gas engines.

New Holland will show the innovative Methane-Powered Concept Tractor, which combines visionary design with advanced and sustainable biomethane combustion, a key element in the Energy Independent Farm concept, which sees farmers producing fuel from waste products.

The IVECO Stralis NP, the first natural gas truck specifically designed for long-distance transport, which delivers the same performance as its diesel equivalent with ultra-low emissions will also be on display.

FPT Industrial’s groundbreaking NEF 6 cylinder and Cursor 13 natural gas engines which power the tractor and truck will also be exhibited.

Representatives from all three brands will address the concurrent World Biogas Summit on a range of topics including, the future of biogas in agriculture, advanced powertrain technologies, the circular economy as well as discussing the growing role institutions have in facilitating the adoption of natural gas technologies.

The Stralis NP 460 (right) in a single-fuel version with double LNG tanks has a range of up to 1 600 km.
